There’s something stirring at 150 Cherry Street! A space has been created for people to come encounter Jesus outside the context of church. Our priority is to create a space for prayer in the atmosphere of worship and belonging. If you don’t have a prayer meeting in your faith setting, please come join us!

Those who’ve come to First Fridays say that they experience freedom and belonging. Maybe you’ve felt something missing from your faith experience. Maybe you have adverse faith experiences but still want to explore Jesus. Maybe you’re passionate about worship and prayer and want to encounter Jesus in deeper ways. If any of this is you, come check it out! We’re waiting for you!

Every first Friday of the month through 2024 we’ll be hosting this time of extended worship. Although 150 Cherry and The Beholding project do the footwork to facilitate these times, we’re not represented by any specific ministry. We want this to be an organically growing space. There’s actually many ministries and churches represented week to week. The cool part is that anyone can sign up to worship, lead prayer, or door monitor. Bring your team, or just come by yourself. Bring your friends. Bring your family. Spots are open from 7pm-12am and will be extended upon request. Even if you don’t sign up, there are still opportunities to participate in our time. Just come and soak it up, or test your wings praying or reading scripture when the mic is open.
